Education

We will frequently conduct workshops and courses to impart advanced interventional techniques. The department will also offer continuing medical education (CME) to our family physician colleagues through guest lectures and updates. We also plan to launch the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) programme in gastroenterology and gastrosurgery, providing advanced educational opportunities for aspiring specialists in this field. Frequent public symposiums will be held to empower the community with knowledge on preventing common ailments and when to seek help. Regular screenings and preventive programmes will target high-risk individuals, such as those with Barrett’s oesophagus, gastric intestinal metaplasia, and hereditary colorectal cancer.
