Our Department of Cardiology will deliver comprehensive patient care through a dedicated team that includes consultant surgeons, resident staff (house officers), nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and allied health workers (paramedical professionals). This department provides and/or offers access to the following services.

Outpatient department (OPD) services

Affordable OPD consultations will be available, with free health camps and mobile OPD services in surrounding areas. Teleconsultation options will also be provided. The OPD will be equipped for ECG, TMT, Holter monitoring, paediatric & foetal echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT, CTCA, and cardiac MRI as needed. Specialised clinics for heart failure, arrhythmia, and genetic conditions will also be available.

Inpatient department (IPD) services

Our IPD will cater to a range of cardiac conditions, admitting patients under the guidance of expert consultants. Services will accommodate patients on varied plans, including admissions based on cash, government cards (e.g., Swasthya Sathi and Ayushman Bharat), and various private health-insurance cards. Based on patient needs, care will be provided in the CCUs, HDUs, general wards or private cabins. Advanced ventilators and other essential equipment will be accessible.

Investigation services

A full spectrum of haematological & cardiac lab as well as imaging services will be available around the clock, including ECG, echocardiography, TMT, Holter, cardiac CT scan, and MRI scan.

Cardiac rehabilitation services

For the patients recovering after heart surgeries or continuing other cardiac issues, cardiac rehabilitation programmes are recommended. Our cardiac rehabilitation programme will offer supervised exercise, education, and counselling to support patients in their recovery and enhance cardiovascular health.

Research & development (R&D)

As an institution aiming for a deemed university status and a national examination board affiliation, our department will be at the forefront of research and clinical advancements. Our team will engage in translational research, applying lab findings to patient care. One of our directors, who is an accomplished cardiologist and a published authority with over 50 national & international papers, will lead initiatives in collaboration with multiple agencies & departments, both nationally and internationally.

Education

Regular workshops and advanced interventional training sessions will be held for local, national & international cardiologists. Continuing medical education (CME) programmes and guest lectures will keep family physicians updated. Public symposiums will empower the community with heart-health knowledge. Additionally, we will offer We also plan to launch the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) programme in adult & paediatric cardiology and paramedical certifications in areas such as cath lab, ECG, and CCU technology.
