A dedicated team of professionals—including consultant anaesthesiologists, resident staff (house officers), nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and paramedical staff—will deliver essential care and support in this department. This department provides and/or gives access to the following services.

Outpatient department (OPD) services

We will offer a pre-anaesthesia clinic (PAC) to ensure thorough preoperative assessments, available at a reasonable cost, with teleconsultation options.

Investigation services

Comprehensive laboratory & imaging services covering haematology, microbiology, pathology, and radiology will be accessible around the clock.

Intensive-care unit (ICU) services

The ICU will be fully equipped with advanced life-support systems, featuring modern technology and equipment, such as the following.

Operating theatre (OT) and intervention services

Our anaesthesiologists, skilled in various anaesthesia techniques, will work collaboratively with surgical teams to tailor anaesthesia plans, factoring in each patient’s medical history and specific needs to ensure optimal safety and care.

Research & development (R&D)

In our pursuit of a deemed university status and a national examination board affiliation, the department will engage in cutting-edge research with an emphasis on translational science, transforming laboratory discoveries into effective clinical therapies.

Education

Regular workshops and courses will be organised to advance skills in anaesthetic techniques. Continuing medical education (CME) sessions and guest lectures will keep our family physician colleagues updated.
